What We Do
Our Goals

Our goal is to support you to be your best self and this is at the core of everything we offer. Our peer support groups are a safe space where you can share your journey with others and strengthen your inner resilience. Our volunteer programs build on your previous experiences to develop your skills.

We want to help you make informed choices that are best for you and provide quality information you can trust. Our informational support comes through our local support groups, our hand picked library, the curated resource sections on the website, our workshops and social media campaigns.

We are a women-led grass roots social enterprise with the mission to help create a more informed, confident, ecologically aware community that respects rites of passage. We want everyone to emerge empowered by their experiences to go on and support others.

Mission

The Nest is the place for you if ANY of these statements are true for you…
- You have a vagina
- You menstruate
- You are perimenopausal
- You are menopausal
- You are post-menopausal
- You are pregnant
- You have given birth
- You want to find out more about any (or all) of these amazing life transitions!
We know that not all people who menstruate are women, and not all women menstruate. Our services are available to all people with a menstrual cycle and/or a uterus, non-binary & trans people. Read Our Full Equality Statement Here.
“Safe Place”
The Nest is a safe place to be heard, to ask questions, and to meet other mums.
Natalie, Member of Nesters group
“Important”
Talking to other new mums and some second time mums, who have felt completely abandoned and without support this year because of the covid era services – makes me realise just how important The Nest has been.
Jen, Member of Nesters group
“All parts of the journey”
This group includes ladies on all parts of the journey, which helps to provide valuable first hand experience for others to listen and learn from.
Felicity, Member of Nesters group
